The proposed project includes the demolition of non-bearing walls. Framing plans for the floor, ceiling, <br /> and roof should be provided to substantiate that the walls are not load-bearing. The plans should also <br /> include a note requiring the contractor to verify the walls are not load bearing prior to demolition. See <br /> IRC Section R301.1. <br /> 16. Details for the construction of the new walls should be included. The details should specify <br /> connections for the top and bottom framing plates to the existing structure. See IRC Sections R106.1.1 <br /> and R301.1. <br /> 17. A fastener schedule should be provided per IRC Table R602.3(1). Providing a reference to this table in <br /> the drawings does not satisfy this requirement. In addition,the make and model of proprietary <br /> hardware should be specified in the plans and details where used for connections. <br /> Review of your project will be performed in the order received once the required documentation has been <br /> submitted.
