Is there currently a clean out on the side sewer: No not accessible due to downstairs <br /> remodel. <br /> How many at risk plumbing fixtures below the road surface are there: 2; sink, floor <br /> drain. <br /> How many down spouts are currently connected to the sewer: 0 <br /> Does side sewer have slope: yes 2% <br /> Depth of side sewer 10ft from house: 5' <br /> Sewer Report: <br /> Material: Shared Concrete and plastic. <br /> Sewer Length: 74' <br /> Condition: Fair <br /> Explain: Bad tie-in from prior repair in front yard <br /> Problems Identified <br /> 1) No backwater valve to protect house from surcharge event. <br /> Solution: Install backwater valve to protect house from surcharge event. <br /> 2) Prior connection from pvc repair is angled wrong and holding debris see video. <br /> Solution: Dig up and repair (near and under walkway). See pictures. <br /> 3) Downspout near basement entry is too close to basement door <br /> Solution: Use flex pipe to extend downspout line or add drain near back stairs. <br /> 4) One downspout has no splash block <br /> Solution: Add correct splash block in case of heavy rains <br /> As-Built of Sewer and Plumbing <br /> See attached drawing. <br />
