Exhibit "A" <br /> Scope of Services, Time of Performance, Budget, <br /> Payment, Notices, and Representatives <br /> I. Scope of Service <br /> A. Activities/Project Description <br /> The Subrecipient will be responsible for administering the Enhanced Hunger Prevention Program in <br /> a manner satisfactory to the City and consistent with any standards required as a condition of <br /> providing these funds. Such program will include the following activities eligible under the Community <br /> Development Block Grant Program: <br /> Program Delivery <br /> Activity: <br /> The Enhanced Hunger Prevention Program will serve 86,667 Person by providing Estimating 2000 <br /> pounds of grocery rescue/donated food picked up per week, multiplied by 52 weeks, divided by 1.2 <br /> pounds (average weight of one meal) then divided by the average family size in Everett at 2.43. <br /> General Administration <br /> [Description of general administrative services to be performed in support of activities noted above] <br /> VOAVWV will purchase a sprinter style van and add a refrigeration unit. This van will support our <br /> daily grocery rescue program for Census Tract 419, and all food collected will go to only serve <br /> Census Tract 419. <br /> B. National Objectives <br /> The Subrecipient certifies that the activities carried out with funds provided under this Agreement will <br /> meet the following CDBG National Objective, as identified by the City of Everett for priority in the <br /> 2020 Program Year, "Benefit low/moderate income persons" - as defined in 24 CFR Part 570.208. <br /> Appropriate Subcategory and Matrix Code under the National Objective: <br /> Low Mod Area Benefit (LMA); 05W, Food Banks 24 CFR 570.201(e) or 42 USC 5305(a)(8) + 24 CFR <br /> 570.482(c)(2) Costs associated with the operation of food banks, community kitchens, and <br /> food pantries, such as staff costs, supplies, utilities, maintenance, and insurance. <br /> Description of how the project will meet this subcategory: VOAVWV will ensure community members <br /> in Census Tract 419 directly benefit from the food provision supported by this funding opportunity. <br /> As identified in the Census Tracts provided by the City of Everett, both food pantry sites listed <br /> below and marked on the "Exhibit A— Census Tract and Site map for VOAWW Hunger Prevention <br /> Program" lie within and serve persons within Census Tract 419. Census Tract 419 has been <br /> identified as a target area in the 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan due to the high concentration of <br />
