Exhibit "A" Scope of Services, Time of Performance, Budget, Payment, Notices, and Representatives I. Scope of Service A. Activities/Project Description The Subrecipient will be responsible for administering the Enhanced Hunger Prevention Program in a manner satisfactory to the City and consistent with any standards required as a condition of providing these funds. Such program will include the following activities eligible under the Community Development Block Grant Program: Program Delivery Activity: The Enhanced Hunger Prevention Program will serve 86,667 Person by providing Estimating 2000 pounds of grocery rescue/donated food picked up per week, multiplied by 52 weeks, divided by 1.2 pounds (average weight of one meal) then divided by the average family size in Everett at 2.43. General Administration [Description of general administrative services to be performed in support of activities noted above] VOAVWV will purchase a sprinter style van and add a refrigeration unit. This van will support our daily grocery rescue program for Census Tract 419, and all food collected will go to only serve Census Tract 419. B. National Objectives The Subrecipient certifies that the activities carried out with funds provided under this Agreement will meet the following CDBG National Objective, as identified by the City of Everett for priority in the 2020 Program Year, "Benefit low/moderate income persons" - as defined in 24 CFR Part 570.208. Appropriate Subcategory and Matrix Code under the National Objective: Low Mod Area Benefit (LMA); 05W, Food Banks 24 CFR 570.201(e) or 42 USC 5305(a)(8) + 24 CFR 570.482(c)(2) Costs associated with the operation of food banks, community kitchens, and food pantries, such as staff costs, supplies, utilities, maintenance, and insurance. Description of how the project will meet this subcategory: VOAVWV will ensure community members in Census Tract 419 directly benefit from the food provision supported by this funding opportunity. As identified in the Census Tracts provided by the City of Everett, both food pantry sites listed below and marked on the "Exhibit A— Census Tract and Site map for VOAWW Hunger Prevention Program" lie within and serve persons within Census Tract 419.
