Per RFI#10,the Engineer is requiring a Tensar TX7 geogrid be placed <br /> underneath the gravel pad. Geogrid is not a geotextile and the additional material cost for the geogrid is <br /> considered to be extra to the contract. Attached is a proposal showing a difference in price of$4.50 per SY <br /> between the geotextile and geogrid.
