Their report, which is attached, does recommend the installation of a backwater <br /> valve to reduce the risk of basement flooding from sewer backups. This was done as part <br /> of the City's main sewer line replacement project last summer. <br /> The report does not identify any other major deficiencies in your sewer and drainage <br /> system at this time. However, we recommend that you regularly inspect your plumbing, <br /> sewer and drainage systems to ensure they are working properly. <br /> Thank you for your interest in our backwater valve program.
