Their findings indicate that installing a backwater valve on your property would be beneficial. Please review the enclosed report. Previously, you signed the E3ackwater Valve Authorization Form authorizing the City to install a backwaler valve at your property. Based on the inspec[ion report, we are proceeding with the installation. The Citv's contractor, Combined Construction. will be contactina vou in Mav to schedule ihe work. This will require entry into the building at the above address. The City wdl provide you on-site training on the operation and maintenance of the backwater valve. Maintenance of thc valve and lhe plumbing, sewer, and dreinage on your property are your resnonsibility. The inspection identified additional site dreina9e and plumbing deficiencies in your private drainage and plumb�ng system. These include: . Downspouts arc piped down the bluFf at the back of the property. Their point of discharge neecls regular inspection to ensure they don't cause any erosion or damage.
