• <br /> Attachment A <br /> Scope of Services <br /> The Service Provider will provide support of entrepreneurs and inventors by • <br /> providing direct technical assistance to entrepreneurs located in Everett or <br /> establishing their business in Everett and will identify mentors who can be of <br /> assistance to the entrepreneurs and inventors in Everett. <br /> The Service Provider will create outreach activities to identify and encourage <br /> entrepreneurs and inventors by providing presentations to community and <br /> government groups about the availability of support for entrepreneurs in the area <br /> and will create publicity to promote entrepreneurial opportunities in the area. <br /> The Service Provider will assist new businesses starting their businesses in Everett <br /> to understand options for accessing private capital. It will aide entrepreneurs and <br /> inventors to prepare materials required by the funding sources. The Service <br /> Provider will also assist with identifying additional potential investors for Everett <br /> based startups. Service Provider will promote the availability of Slingshot-NW to <br /> inventors in Everett . It will assist inventors with licensing terms with Slingshot <br /> and with materials required for Slingshot to accept the product for market. The <br /> Service Provider will work with SnoCo Makers and other makerspaces in Everett <br /> to support the inventors and entrepreneurs in the Everett area. <br /> • <br /> The Service Provider will partner with Education Institutions, Port of Everett, <br /> Economic Alliance of Snohomish County, Business Leaders and others to <br /> complete activities which will contribute to a sustainable entrepreneurial <br /> environment in Everett including working with WSU students to encourage <br /> entrepreneurial activity in the area; work with the EvCC AMTEC program to <br /> evaluate commercial potential of activities of the students capstone projects. <br /> Service Provider is granted a permanent non-exclusive license to re-use intellectual <br /> property created by Service provider under this Agreement, so long as the re-used <br /> intellectual property does not reference the City unless the City gives written <br /> permission. <br />
