State of Washington Department of Ecology City of Everett Transit Bus Replacement Project Agreement No. AQTRNBUS-1719-COE-00005 Transit Bus Replacement Task Total Scrap and Replace three (3) diesel transit buses $ 1,500,000.00 CHANGES TO SCOPE OF WORK Task Number: 1 Total: $ 1,500,000.00 Task Cost: $1,500,000.00 Task Title: Scrap and Replace three (3) diesel transit buses Task Description: Under this project the RECIPIENT will purchase three (3) new zero -emission all -electric transit buses to replace three (3) 2006 or older engine model year diesel powered transit buses. Page 2 of 6 The old buses must be scrapped. The scrapped buses must be permanently disabled. This requires a hole cut in the engine block and destruction of the chassis. A form to assist with this is available in the EAGL system. The RECEIPIENT will submit the bus order to Ecology upon placing the order. The RECIPIENT will make full payment for the buses and submit all invoices and destruction documents in order to receive payment. The RECIPIENT will provide a charging infrastructure prior to receiving delivery of the new all -electric bus. Ecology may grant a one-time extension of this grant for a period of one year. Task Goal Statement: The goal of this project is to reduce diesel exhaust air pollution by replacing three (3) 2006 or older engine model year diesel transit buses with three (3) new all -electric transit buses. Task Expected Outcome: Three (3) old diesel transit buses replaced with three (3) all -electric new transit buses.
