Duty -e Enforce Ordinance. <br /> The Police Department of the City of Everett is hereby given <br /> the authority and is instructed to watch and observe the con- <br /> duct of holders and drivers operating under this ordinance. <br /> Upon discovering a violation of the provisions of this ordin- <br /> ance, the Police Department shall report the same to the <br /> Commissioner of Safety who will order or take appropriate <br /> action. <br /> Section 34. Penalty. Any person violating any of the <br /> provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a <br /> misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not <br /> exceeding Three Hundred Dollars ( ?300.00) or by imprisonment <br /> in the city jail not exceeding ninety (90) days, or both such <br /> fine and imprisonment. <br /> Section 35. Severability. Each of the provisions of <br /> this ordinance are severable, and if any provision shall be <br /> declared to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall not <br /> be affected but shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> Section 36. Repealing Provision. All ordinances or <br /> parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are here- <br /> by repealed. <br /> Section 37. That Ordinance No. 2957, 2720 , and sections <br /> 51 through 60 of Ordinance No. 2513 of the City of Everett be, <br /> and the same are hereby repealed.
