ORDINANCE NO. 3Z h AN ORDINANCE approving and confirming the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 600 for the improvement of State Street from Hewitt Avenue to 19th Street and 26th Street from Walnut Street to Summit Avenue by paving the same with an asphaltic concrete pavement and including as a part of said work the construction or reconstruction of all sewers, side sewers, water mains and hydrants with necessary appurtenances; the construction or reconstruction of concrete curbs and gutters where necessary; the construction or reconstruction of concrete sidewalks where necessary, except that no sidewalks will be con- structed on State Street from 20th Street to 19th Street, by such grading or regrading as may be necessary and by doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith to make a complete improvement, all in accordance with Resolution No. 5288 of the City of Everett, and Ordinance No. 3184; levying an assessment on account thereof against the several lots, tracts, and parcels of land or other property as shown on said roll; -providing for the issuance of bonds therefor, and fixing the date of issue thereof. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 600 for the improvement of State Street from hewitt Avenue to 19th Street and 26th Street from Walnut Street to Summit Avenue by paving the same with an asphaltic concrete pavement and including as a part of said work the construction or reconstruction of all sewers, side sewers, water mains and hydrants with necessary appurtenances; the construction or reconstruction of concrete curbs and gutters where necessary; the construction or reconstruction of concrete sidewalks where necessary, except that no sidewalks will be constructed on State Street from 20th Street to 19th Street, by such grading or re- grading as may be necessary and by doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith to make a complete improve- ment, all in accordance with Resolution No. 5288 of the City of Everett, and Ordinance No. 3184 be, and the same is hereby in all things approved and confirmed. Section 2: That each of the lots, tracts, and parcels of land as shown by said roll is hereby declared to be especially benefited by said improvement in at least the amount charged against the same, and that there is hereby levied an assessment against said lot, tract, and parcel of land, or other property appearing on said roll, in the amount finally charged against the same. Section 3: That the 1st day of __ February , 1950 is hereby fixed as the date of the issuance of the bonds required to be issued on account of said improvement. Section 4 That the sum charged against each lot, tract and parcel of land and other property, or any portion of such sum, may be paid during the thirty-day period following the date of first publication by the Treasurer that such assessment roll has been placed in his hands for collection. - 1 -
