ORDINANCE NO. 3Z h <br /> AN ORDINANCE approving and confirming the assessment <br /> and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 600 for the <br /> improvement of State Street from Hewitt Avenue to 19th Street and <br /> 26th Street from Walnut Street to Summit Avenue by paving the <br /> same with an asphaltic concrete pavement and including as a part <br /> of said work the construction or reconstruction of all sewers, <br /> side sewers, water mains and hydrants with necessary appurtenances; <br /> the construction or reconstruction of concrete curbs and gutters <br /> where necessary; the construction or reconstruction of concrete <br /> sidewalks where necessary, except that no sidewalks will be con- <br /> structed on State Street from 20th Street to 19th Street, by such <br /> grading or regrading as may be necessary and by doing such other <br /> work as may be necessary in connection therewith to make a <br /> complete improvement, all in accordance with Resolution No. 5288 <br /> of the City of Everett, and Ordinance No. 3184; levying an <br /> assessment on account thereof against the several lots, tracts, <br /> and parcels of land or other property as shown on said roll; <br /> -providing for the issuance of bonds therefor, and fixing the date <br /> of issue thereof. <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll <br /> of Local Improvement District No. 600 for the improvement of State <br /> Street from hewitt Avenue to 19th Street and 26th Street from <br /> Walnut Street to Summit Avenue by paving the same with an asphaltic <br /> concrete pavement and including as a part of said work the <br /> construction or reconstruction of all sewers, side sewers, water <br /> mains and hydrants with necessary appurtenances; the construction <br /> or reconstruction of concrete curbs and gutters where necessary; <br /> the construction or reconstruction of concrete sidewalks where <br /> necessary, except that no sidewalks will be constructed on State <br /> Street from 20th Street to 19th Street, by such grading or re- <br /> grading as may be necessary and by doing such other work as may <br /> be necessary in connection therewith to make a complete improve- <br /> ment, all in accordance with Resolution No. 5288 of the City of <br /> Everett, and Ordinance No. 3184 be, and the same is hereby in all <br /> things approved and confirmed. <br /> Section 2: That each of the lots, tracts, and <br /> parcels of land as shown by said roll is hereby declared to be <br /> especially benefited by said improvement in at least the amount <br /> charged against the same, and that there is hereby levied an <br /> assessment against said lot, tract, and parcel of land, or other <br /> property appearing on said roll, in the amount finally charged <br /> against the same. <br /> Section 3: That the 1st day of __ February , 1950 <br /> is hereby fixed as the date of the issuance of the bonds required <br /> to be issued on account of said improvement. <br /> Section 4 That the sum charged against each lot, <br /> tract and parcel of land and other property, or any portion of <br /> such sum, may be paid during the thirty-day period following the <br /> date of first publication by the Treasurer that such assessment <br /> roll has been placed in his hands for collection. <br /> - 1 - <br />
