<br /> An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1655 entitled, "An
<br /> Ordinance regulating the installation, erection, alteration, repair,
<br /> use and operation of electric wiring, connections, fixtures, and
<br /> other electrical appliances in buildings and other structures in the
<br /> City of Everett, providing a penalty for the violation thereof, re-
<br /> pealing all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith,
<br /> ana declaring an emergency, " and declaring an emergency.
<br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOLS ORDAIN:
<br /> Section 1: Orainance No. 1655 be; and the same is hereby
<br /> amended by aaing thereto Section 16, which shall read as follows:
<br /> Section 18: Plug fuses and holders of a nontamperable
<br /> type shall be mandatory in all public buildings, commercial buildings,
<br /> hotels, apartments, and dwellings except single-family dwellings.
<br /> It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corpora-
<br /> tion to cause to be installed or remain in operation any plug fuses
<br /> or holders except of a nontamperable type in any building, hotel,
<br /> apartment house, or dwelling, except a single-family dwelling.
<br /> Section 2: An emergency is hereby declared to exist and
<br /> this ordinance shall take effect as of its passage and publication.

<br /> The city of Everett does ordain:
<br /> Section 1: Ordinance No. 1655
