2.1.6 Element 6: Protect Slopes <br /> All cut and fill slopes will be designed, constructed, and protected in a manner than minimizes <br /> erosion. The following specific BMPs will be used to protect slopes for this project: <br /> Will steep slopes be present at the site during construction? <br /> [ Yesn No <br /> List and describe BMPs: <br /> Temporary and Permanent Seeding(BMP C120) <br /> Installation Schedules: Apply temporary hydro-seed to cut and fill slopes, according to the <br /> approved construction plans, as needed to minimize erosion during site grading. <br /> Inspection and Maintenance plan: <br /> Apply permanent hydro-seed to cut and fill slopes at final grade as site grading is completed. <br /> Reseed any seeded areas that fail to establish at least 80 percent cover(100 percent cover for <br /> areas that receive sheet or concentrated flows). If reseeding is ineffective, use an alternate <br /> method such as sodding, mulching, or nets/blankets. If winter weather prevents adequate grass <br /> growth, this time limit may be relaxed at the discretion of the local authority when sensitive <br /> areas would otherwise be protected.
