EXISTING CONDITIONS SUMMARY
The Staniford residence Lot 2 is a .15 Acre site consisting of grass vegetation and an existing gravel
driveway. The site slopes from east to west with slopes approximately 20 percent down to the existing
sidewalk on Upper Ridge Road. The existing project site is pervious, except for an existing gravel
driveway.
PROPOSED CONDITIONS SUMMARY
The Staniford project lot 2 proposes a new house and new concrete driveway to replace the existing
gravel driveway. Site improvements include clearing and grading, and stormwater improvements for
stormwater infiltration of the proposed house and driveway areas. The Staniford project lot 2 will be
looking at BMPs for the proposed house and driveway areas.
Stormwater management was evaluated for both the proposed house roof area and proposed driveway
area. Full Downspout Infiltration has been selected to manage stormwater runoff from the proposed
house and proposed driveway. Roof leaders will route stormwater along the proposed house and
connect to an infiltration gallery, if needed a structure will be set in the driveway to collect stormwater
and disperse it into the infiltration gallery. Modeling has been run for both areas in the WWHM and will
be attached to this report to show sizing and infiltration rates.
DOE Stormwater Management Manual — Minimum Requirements
Volume 1 of the Department of Ecology Stormwater Manual for Western Washington describes the
Minimum Requirements for Stormwater management for a new development project. Using the
flowchart below, Minimum Requirements#1- 5 apply to the Staniford Project.
JJTEAM
