Sheet Comment and Response S2.0 5) Provide gravity calculations for the 2-story wall located adjacent to the stairs to the second floor. Gravity calculations are included with this memo as Attachment A S2.0 6) Provide section drawing at the two-story wall section at stairs. Detail 11/S3.1 has been added to the set. S2.0 16) Specify the framing at the landing at the top of the stairs that runs west to east, and show the connection of the stringers to the landing. The stair configuration has been revised and now omits the upper landing. Detail 6/S3.1 has been added showing stringer attachment. S2.0 19) Provide separate application for construction of the detached garage.A separate permit will be issued for the construction of the garage. Separate plan sets are included with this memo. Also, a new calculation package is included as Attachment B for the garage. S2.0 22) Provide detail of the Simpson Wood Strong Wall. A detail is now included in the new garage plan set. S2.0 23) The engineering details state "Built-up post at end of wall per plan"please clarift the post required and show the locations where posts are required. We typically default to our general note requiring two studs at the ends of walls. If more than two studs are required those are specifically noted on plan.
