On OB/29/13 sewage backed•up through the tloor drain and extinguished the(lames and � pilot lights tor both heaters. People beg�n reporting ihey had no hot waler at about 11 pm that night. PSE was called. By the time Oiey arrived at approximately 11 am 08/3D/13 the pilots had re-Iit themselves and both units seemed lo be funclioning I normally. ' i i On 09/05/13 sewage tacked-up ihrougli tlie tioor drain for a second time and � exlinguished the fiames and pilot Ilghls for both heaters. People began reporling they had no hot water at aboul 11 pm that night. PSE was called. By Ihe time they arrived at approximately 1 pm 09/06/13 only one oi the pllot lights had re•lit. Since we could clearly see the water had risen 11.5 inclies the PSE repairman called his superviscr to determine wl�at course of action he should take. Th�supervisor said that since pie gas vaives had been submerged thsy needed to be replaced. Both were replaced and the heaters began functioning normaily at around 3pm. We have also installed a sump pump to avert future damage to our waten c�aters and inconvenience to our tenants. We have o�vned the �Vladrona Apartments since February, 1996 and we have nev�r experienced Ilooding or se�ver back-up anywhere on our property. I i I �
