This installation is at thf <br />City's solc cost. <br />F3. Olher Deviccs. "There may be other devices that provide as good as (or greater) <br />prolcclion than a backwater eah�e. By signing Ihis authori�ation, '.he Owner <br />grnnts lhc Ci�y and ils contractor permission to inslall �he other device if Ihe City <br />dctertnincs that il should be insialled. This installation is at the City's solc cosi. <br />Ho«�ever, if thc Owner Jesires installation �f the other devicc, but the City has <br />determined to only insiall a beckwater valvc, then the Owner may inslall Ihc other <br />de��ice, and Ihe Cily will rcimburse the Owner up to thc installation cost of Ihc <br />beckwatcr valvc. <br />C. Fumre Maintcnance. Upon installation, the back���ater valvc or other de��ice is Ihe <br />Owner's property. The O�mer is cxclusively responsiblc to maintain it. <br />3. Other Recommended Imnro��emenis. After the completion of the inspection, the Ciry <br />may pro��idc thc O��mcr wilh a list of o�hcr recommended improecmcnls lo the property's <br />plumbing and dr+inagc syslems.
