J �� C <br /> ORDINANCE No. 3231. <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending section 2 of Ordinance No. 3197 of <br /> the City of Everett, which ordinance is entitled as follows: <br /> "An Ordinance providing for the licensing of all dogs <br /> within the corporate limits of the City of Everett; prohibiting <br /> dogs from running at large within the corporate limits of the <br /> City of Everett during certain periods of time and under <br /> certain conditions; prohibiting horses, cows, calves, colts, <br /> goats or kids, or any other domestic animal, from running at <br /> large or being pastured or staked out in the City of Everett, <br /> except as otherwise provided; authorizing the impoding and <br /> destruction of dogs and domestic animals; creating office of <br /> poundmaster; providing for appointment of poundmaster; pro- <br /> viding a penalty, and repealing Ordinance No. 1603 and section <br /> 79 through 91, Ordinance No. 2513, and all other ordinances or <br /> parts of ordinances in conflict therewith. " <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 3197 of <br /> the City of Everett be, and it is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Section 2: LICENSE FEES AND REGISTRATION REQUIRED: <br /> All dogs kept, harbored or maintained by their owners or <br /> agents in the City of Everett shall be licensed and registered <br /> if over four (4) months of age. The annual license fee for <br /> dogs over Four (4) months of age shall be as follows: <br /> Each male dog 42.00 <br /> Each female dog '4;5.00 <br /> Provided that, if the owner shall certify that such female dog <br /> has been spayed, then the annual license fee for such spayed <br /> female dog shall be 42.00. At the time of making application <br /> for said license, the owner shall state in said application, <br /> on the printed form provided for such purpose, his name and <br /> address, the name, breed, color and sex of each dog kept by <br /> him. Upon the presentation of such application and tender of <br /> the fee provided herein, the Clerk of the City of Everett <br /> shall issue a license for such dog.
