64 <br /> Vehicle Technical V Consultants Inc. <br /> • Inspect manufacturer modifications for design and installation integrity and possible OEM <br /> warranty conflicts. <br /> • Batteries-Verify rating of batteries;verify correct positioning and proper fastening. <br /> • Check Fire Suppression System and operation if specified. <br /> Road Test <br /> • As part of the final inspection phase,VTC would witness each road test,riding each bus and <br /> listening for abnormal power train noises and interior rattles as well as observing for proper <br /> shift points,acceleration,braking performance,ride quality,and appropriate functioning of <br /> other bus systems. <br /> Reporting <br /> Reporting will include telephone calls,daily if necessary,to keep the designated Procuring <br /> Agency's Project Manager posted on developing issues.This will include digital photographs,e- <br /> mails,as well as written reports every week,e-mailed on Monday Mornings. <br /> The written report shall include,at a minimum,the following items: <br /> • Production progress during the period,As well as Reporting if the Factory is on Schedule or <br /> not to ensure that we remain within the allotted Timeline for Inspections.By Reporting <br /> Weekly,this keeps us aware ahead of time of an Over-Run. <br /> • Specific problems encountered during the period including digital pictures of the issue. <br /> • Status of problems/issues reported during the previous reporting periods. <br /> • Recommended solutions to problems/issues reported. <br /> • These Weekly Reports are reviewed by the Project Manager. <br /> Upon completion of the final inspection,a shipping release form is completed noting any open <br /> items remaining on this bus. This form will be signed by the VTC Inspector authorizing <br /> shipment.The Customer will be notified within 24 Hours of the Authorization to Release a Coach <br /> for Shipment. <br /> All of the above mentioned documentation that is prepared for each vehicle becomes a part of the <br /> vehicle final report that is prepared at the end of the inspection program.
