Any additional comments: <br /> • Toilet was used as access to camera sewer system. <br /> • Placement of Back Water valve in front yard will remove roots from <br /> system. <br /> • Sewer line is old made of concrete. <br /> Problems Identified <br /> 1) House side sewer is not protected by a backwater valve. During sewer surcharge <br /> events sewer flows could back up out of below ground fixtures. <br /> Solution: Install backwater valve at location specified on attached sewer and drainage <br /> sketch. <br /> 2) Basement toilet pipe has separations in line, the pipe coming up to the floor level and <br /> 2 feet down in the concrete where it turns to go to the street. <br /> *)01 -L:° ‘1" <br /> „,a tv fv.y•..I <br /> Basement Toilet Riser Pipe <br /> Solution: <br /> Old pipe needs to be replaced at some point by jack hammering bathroom floor or <br /> possible pipe patch. <br /> 1/18/2011 <br />
