Project summary statement: Transit owns eighteen bus tires and aluminum rims size 305/70R22.5. Proterra provided an upgraded rim and tire at no additional cost for buses B0704 - B0706. The eighteen rims and tires proposed for surplus are original equipment that was provided with the buses. Each tire has varying tread and remaining life. The buses were paid for with Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT) funds. WSDOT has approved surplus of the tires if the proceeds are placed back into Fund 425 Transit for repairs of the fleet. The estimated surplus value is $9,000.
