Project summary statement: Transit owns twenty-four bus tires and aluminum rims size 305/70R22.5. Proterra provided an upgraded rim and tire at no additional cost for buses B0700 - B0703. The twenty-four rims and tires proposed for surplus are original equipment that were provided with the buses. Each tire has varying tread and remaining life. The buses were paid for with 85% Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funds; therefore, the FTA will receive 85% of the proceeds from this sale. The estimated surplus value is $12,000.
