However,the submitted documents are not <br /> sufficiently developed for us to perform a comprehensive review at this time. <br /> Information is attached to provide guidance. Revised construction-level documents should be submitted for <br /> review. Two complete sets of the revised drawings should be submitted to replace the previously submitted <br /> drawing sets. Preliminary comments are provided below to assist in revising the drawings, but these are not <br /> intended to provide a comprehensive review. The resubmittal documents should include an itemized <br /> response letter clarifying how the review comments below have been addressed. <br /> Intake Review Comments: <br /> 1. The submitted drawings are not sufficiently legible to complete a review. Please submit revised <br /> drawings with text appropriately sizes. New work would be distinguished from the existing <br /> construction. Colored layers should not be used; print drawings in black and white only. <br /> 2. The project appears to include modifications to the ductwork, which will require a separate mechanical <br /> permit. Note that this new exhaust fans should be shown on the architectural plans. Ceiling radiation <br /> dampers appear to be required and should be specified. <br /> 3. Continuing with the previous comment, details should be included for repair to the ceiling covering if <br /> the duct is recessed in the floor above. The required fire-rated construction should be indicated in the <br /> drawings. Details for listed and tested fire-rated assemblies should be included in the drawings. <br /> Review of your project will be performed in the order received once the required documentation has been <br /> submitted.
