But because of the fittings it cannot be <br /> snaked due to nonfunctional clean outs. This is not a concern until it needs to be <br /> cleaned out. <br /> Problems Identified <br /> 1) No backwater valve <br /> Solution: Install backwater valve <br /> 2) No drain at basement back door (see pictures below). <br /> Solution: Install floor drain or sump pump to remove rain water. <br />
