We used <br /> 2" cleanout for access. <br /> How many at risk plumbing fixtures below the road surface are there: 2; Floor drain and <br /> washing machine. <br /> How many down spouts are currently connected to the sewer: 0 <br /> Does side sewer have slope: Yes, 2% <br /> Depth of side sewer 10ft from house: 5'6" <br /> Sewer Report: <br /> Material: Cast iron and concrete and PVC <br /> Sewer Length: 67' <br /> Condition: Good, half of the line is new from sewer to front yard <br /> Problems Identified <br /> 1) No backwater valve to protect house from surcharge event <br /> Solution: Install backwater valve in front yard <br /> 2)Line has years of grease <br /> Solution: Should be Jetted. <br /> As-Built of Sewer and Plumbing <br /> See attached drawing. <br /> Comments <br /> • Installing a grinder pump would provide increased protection from sewer backups <br /> beyond the protection a backwater valve can provide. <br />
