AN ORDINANCE amending Section $3 of Ordinance No. 2318 of the City of Everett , which ordinance is entitled as follows: "An Ordinance relating to vehicles and regulating the use and operation thereof upon the streets and other public places within the city of Everett; providing penalties for the violation thereof; repealing Ordinance No. 1825 and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith and declaring an emergency." and declaring an emergency. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Section $3 of Ordinance No. 2318 of the City of Everett be, and it is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 83 : No automobile, truck or other vehicle shall be parked or allowed to stand longer than one (1) hour continuously between $ o'clock a.m. and 6 o' clock p.m* on the following described avenues within the city of Everett, to-wit : On Hewitt avenue from the east line of Grand avenue to the west line of Broadway. On Rucker avenue from the south line of California avenue to the north line of Wall street. Hoyt avenue from the north line of Hewitt avenue to the south line of. California avenue. On Colby avenue from the south line of Everett avenue to the north line of Wall street. On Wetmore avenue from the south line of California avenue to the north line of Wall street. On Rockefeller avenue from the north line of Wall Street to the south line of California avenue. Provided, however, that the commissioner of safety is hereby authorized to fix suitable taxicab stands in said territory.
