The City will use Review Proccss V.A described in Chaptcr <br /> 42 of this tiUe to review and decide upon a proposal to amend the text of this tidc. <br /> C. Criieria for Amendine the Text of the Zonine Code. The city may amend the text <br /> of this tiHe only if it finds thaL• <br /> 1. The proposed amendmcnt is consistent with the applicable provisions of <br /> the Everett general plan; and <br /> 2. The proposed amendment bears a substantial relation to public health, <br /> safery or welfare; and <br /> 3. The proposed amendment promotes the best long term interests of thc <br /> Everett community. <br /> D. Notification. Noticc of the proposed action shall be provided by the following <br /> methods: <br /> l. Mailing to all persons who have made written request to be notified of the <br /> proposed change at least ten days prior to the public hearing. <br /> 2. Legal publication in accordance with Section 42.080 of this tide. <br /> E. Wl�o Mav Initiate Proposed Amr,ndments.
