r <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3180. <br /> AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of the following <br /> described portion of street in the City of Everett, County of <br /> Snohomish, State of Washington, to-wit: <br /> 1 <br /> The alley in Hillcrest Addition, from the <br /> North line of the Addition to the South line <br /> i of the Addition, ALSO Williams Street from <br /> the West property line of Block 6, Vestal and <br /> Whitfields First Addition to Everett, to the <br /> Viest property line of Federal Street. <br /> I WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the private <br /> property abutting upon the portion of street above described have <br /> duly filed their petition with the City Council of Everett, praying <br /> for the vacation of said portion of street; and <br /> WHEREAS, said City Council of the City of Everett did, by <br /> resolution duly adopted, fix the 10th day of March, 1948 at 10:00 <br /> o 'clock A.M. of said day for the hearing and determination of said <br /> petition; and <br /> WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the timeand place of said <br /> hearing and the determination of said petition has been given by the <br /> i City Clerk in the manner required by law; and <br /> WHEREAS; at the time and the place fixed for hearing, no <br /> persons appeared or made objections to the vacating of the herein <br /> Idescribed portion of street and no objections of any kind were made <br /> to the granting of said petition; and <br /> { WHEREAS, it now appearing to the City Council that said <br /> petition should be granted and said Council does hereby determine <br /> i to vacate the above described portion of street, <br /> NOW, THLREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> ii Section 1: That the portion of street in the City of <br /> Everett, County of Snohomish, State of Washington, described as <br /> follows, to-wit: <br /> The alley in Hillcrest Addition, from the <br /> North. line of the Addition to the South <br /> line of the Addition, ALSO Williams Street <br /> from the West property line of Block 6, <br /> !1 Vestal and Whitfields First Addition to <br /> Everett, to the West property line,. of <br /> Federal Street. <br /> j be, and the same is hereby vacated and the title to the land in <br /> said portion of street, above described, is hereby declared to vest <br /> j in the abutting property owners as provided by law. <br /> f r.------4-<--e- hf , <br /> Mayor <br /> ii Attes <br /> 0142 <br /> i y C rk <br /> Passed: March 23 , 1948. <br /> " 24, 1948 • <br /> Published: <br />
