Evaluation costs are allowable costs (either as direct or indirect), <br />unless prohibited by statute or regulation. <br /> <br />3. Period of Performance Extensions <br />Extensions to the period of performance (POP) for this program are allowed. Extensions to <br />the POP identified in the award will only be considered through formal, written requests to <br />the recipient’s FEMA Preparedness Officer must contain specific and compelling <br />justifications as to why an extension is required. Recipients are advised to coordinate with <br />the FEMA Preparedness Officer as needed when preparing an extension request. Please refer <br />to the Preparedness Grants Manual for more detail on the requirements for submitting a POP <br />extension request. <br />
