<br />THE ORIGINAL CONSTRUCTION. THESE REPAIRS MAY NOT ALL BE REFLECTED IN
<br />THESE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, REFERENCE DRAWINGS FOR THESE CONTRACTS
<br />ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE PORT OF EVERETT.
<br />5. A COPY OF THE PLANS SHALL BE ON —SITE WHENEVER CONSTRUCTION IS IN
<br />PROGRESS. THROUGHOUT THE PROGRESS OF THE WORK OF THIS CONTRACT,
<br />THE CONTRACTOR SHALL MAINTAIN AN ACCURATE RECORD OF ALL CHANGES IN
<br />THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. UPON THE COMPLETION OF THIS CONTRACT, THE
<br />CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ONE COMPLETE SET OF RECORD DOCUMENTS TO
<br />THE PORT OF EVERETT.
<br />6. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL LOCATE ALL UTILITIES WITHIN THE PROJECT SITE PRIOR
<br />TO WORK, CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTACT 811 "CALL BEFORE YOU DIG" AND AN
<br />INDEPENDENT LOCATING SERVICE TO LOCATE ALL UTILITIES AT LEAST 48 HOURS
<br />PRIOR TO WORK.
<br />7o THE CONTRACTOR SHALL FIELD VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS OF EXISTING
<br />STRUCTURES AND OTHER FEATURES THAT MAY IMPACT THE WORK, CONTRACTOR
<br />SHALL BRING ANY CONFLICTS TO THE ENGINEER'S ATTENTION PRIOR TO
<br />BEGINNING AFFECTED WORK,
<br />8. ANY DAMAGE TO EXISTING UTILITIES, OTHER FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT DUE TO
<br />THE CONTRACTOR'S NEGLIGENCE, EXCEPT FOR ITEMS DESIGNATED FOR
<br />DEMOLITION, SHALL BE PROMPTLY REPAIRED BY THE CONTRACTOR AT HIS
<br />EXPENSE. THIS INCLUDES ITEMS OUTSIDE THE WORK AREA AND WITHIN THE
<br />PORT OF EVERETT PROPERTY THAT ARE DAMAGED BY CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES
<br />DURING EXECUTION OF THIS CONTRACT.
<br />9. PRIOR TO LAYING PIPE, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL EXPOSE EXISTING WATER,
<br />STORM WATER AND SEWER PIPING AT CONNECTION POINTS TO VERIFY THAT FIELD
<br />CONDITIONS MATCH INFORMATION SHOWN ON THE PLANS, SPECIFICALLY THE
<br />LOCATION, ELEVATION, DIAMETER, AND MATERIAL OF EXISTING PIPE. CONTRACTOR
<br />SHALL CONTACT THE ENGINEER IF DISCREPANCIES ARE DISCOVERED.
<br />10, ALL ACTIVATION AND DEACTIVATION OF UTILITIES SHALL BE COORDINATED WITH
<br />THE UTILITY AND THE PORT ENGINEER IN ADVANCE. PROVIDE A MINIMUM OF 3
<br />DAYS ADVANCE WRITTEN NOTICE TO THE UTILITY AND PORT ENGINEER,
