Please review and respond to the comments below. <br /> 1. According to the description of work, an oil-burning stove is proposed to be <br /> installed and is subjected to the current code requirements. Oil-burning stoves <br /> are subject to the requirements per IMC 922.1 which requires the stove to <br /> listed, labeled, and installed in accordance with the conditions of the listing and <br /> the manufacturer's instructions and that such stoves shall comply with NFPA 31 <br /> and UL896. Please demonstrate and provide such documentation meeting <br /> these requirements and revise plans as required. IMC 922.1 <br /> 2. The provided drawing locating the appliance does not appear to contain <br /> enough information such that its proposed location is meeting the minimum <br /> requirements for access and service. IMC 306.1,306.2. <br /> 3. It is unclear if strengthening was provided to address the roof penetration for <br /> the exhaust vent that appears to be installed with the stove. Please provide <br /> framing details for the existing roof framing to accommodate the roof <br /> penetration and that it is adequate to support such roof penetrations under the <br /> roof design loads. IMC 302.1. <br /> 4. Please provide details addressing the anchorage of the appliance to the floor. <br /> PERMIT SERVICES It is unclear if anchorage is provided as it appears to be missing from the <br /> drawings. IMC 301.18. <br /> Q3200 Cedar Street <br /> Everett,WA 98201 In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary <br /> to provide the Building Division with two new sets of revised construction. <br /> O425.257.8810 documents reflecting the corrections requested.
