June 2022 <br /> • City to request schedule amendment from Department of Commerce to extend deliverable dates. <br /> Deliverable: <br /> • Summary of analysis and recommendations on adjustments to the height and bonus density incentive <br /> program to be included in the draft Feasibility Study. <br /> • The preliminary summary is due August 5,2022,unless amended by Department of Commerce. <br /> Subtask 1.4- Review the City's affordable housing fee reduction and waiver program, including impact fees. <br /> Consultant Activities: <br /> • Assist the City in compiling and organizing recent permit and impact fee reduction information. <br /> • Summarize permit fee reduction impacts and benefits to the City and industry. <br /> • Meet with the City to discuss preliminary recommendations on permit and impact fee program <br /> adjustments. <br /> Assumptions: <br /> • City to provide fee reduction summaries for last 5 years. <br /> Deliverable: <br /> • Summary of analysis and recommendations on adjustments to the fee reduction and waiver program to <br /> be included in the feasibility report. <br /> • The preliminary summary is due August 5,2022,unless amended by City and Department of <br /> Commerce. <br /> • City to request schedule amendment in July 2022. <br /> Subtask 1.5-Prepare a list of housing development incentives,including those currently in use elsewhere in <br /> Washington. <br /> Activities: <br /> • Review the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish County(MBAKS) Housing Tool Kit and <br /> the outcomes of Subtask 1.9 <br /> • Develop a summary of available incentives and identify their applicability to the City's program. <br /> • Meet with the City to discuss incentives and identify possible programs to stimulate housing <br /> development. <br /> • Identify incentives that promote equity and address displacement concerns <br /> Assumptions: <br /> • Review will be limited to readily available published information.
