,.,„ j., V' .4- ORDINANCE No. AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of the following described portion of street in the City of Everett , County of f Snohomish , State of Washington, to-wit: 42nd Street from the West property line of Federal Street to the East property line of Kromer Avenue ; and WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the private property abutting upon the above described portion of street have duly filed their petition with the City Council of Everett praying for the vacation of said portion of street; and If WHEREAS, said City Council of the City of Everett , did by resolution duly adopted, fix the 22nd day of May, 1947, at 10:00 o'clock A.M. , of said day for the hearing and determination f of said petition; and WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of said hearing and the determination of said petition has been given by the City Clerk in the manner required by law; and WHEREAS, at the time and the place fixed for hearing, no persons appeared or made objections to the vacating of the herein described portion of street and no objections of any kind were made to the granting of said petition; and WHEREAS, it now appearing to the City Council that said petition should be granted and said Council does hereby determine to vacate the above described portion of street, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the portion of street in the City of Everett , County of Snohomish, State of Washington, described as a follows, to-wit : 42nd Street from the West property line of Federal Street to the East property line of j Kromer Avenue be, and the same is hereby vacated and the title to the land in said portion of street, above desdribed, is hereby declared to vest in the abutting property owners as provided by law.
