ORDINANCE NO. <br /> 3141 . <br /> AN ORDINANCE approving and confirming the assessment and <br /> assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 579 for the <br /> improvement of Maple Street , 9th Street to 13th Street , by the <br /> installation of 6" water mains , fire hydrants and necessary <br /> aprurtenances, and doing all other work to make a complete improve- <br /> ment , under Ordinance No . 3108, and as amended by Ordinance <br /> No. 3137, of the City of Everett ; levying an assessment on account <br /> thereof against the several lots , tracts and parcels of land or <br /> other property as shown on said roll ; providing for the issuance <br /> of bonds therefor, and fixing the date of issue thereof. <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll <br /> of Local Improvement District No. 579 for the improvement of Nlaple <br /> Street, 9th Street to 13th Street, by the installation of 6" water <br /> mains , fire hydrants and necessary appurtenances, and doing all <br /> other work to make a complete improvement , under Ordinance No. 3108 <br /> and as amended by Ordinance No. 3137 , of the City of Everett , as <br /> the same now stands, be , and the same is hereby in all things <br /> approved and confirmed. <br /> Section 2: That each of the lots, tracts and parcels <br /> of land as shown by said roll is hereby declared to be especially <br /> benefited by said improvement in at least the amount charged against <br /> the same , and that the assessment appearing against the same is in <br /> proportion to the assessment appearing upon said roll, and that <br /> there is hereby levied an assessment against sad lot, tract and <br /> parcel of land , or other property appearing on said roll in the <br /> amount finally charged against the same . <br /> Section 3 : That thE. 25th day of September_, 1947, <br /> is hereby fixed as the date of the issuance of the bonds required <br /> to be issued on account of said improvement . <br /> Section 4 : That the City of Everett may sell said <br /> bonds and make payments in cash in the manner provided bi the <br /> ordinances of said City. <br /> /Y . <br /> Mayor s_ <br /> Attest: <br /> / <br /> City Clerk <br /> Passed: August 12tn, 1947 . <br /> Published : August 13th, 1947 . <br />
