AN ORDINANCE submitting to the Qualified electors of Everett a proposition granting to the Park Department of Everett the authority to sell a part or all of the property known as Lot Thirty-one (31) , Plat of Maple Heights, at a special municipal election to be held on the 6th day of December, 1947, and re- questing the Election Boar of Snohomish County, Washington, to call said election at said time for said purpose. WHEREAS, the City Council of Everett desires to submit to the qualified electors of Everett a proposition granting to the Park Department of Everett the authority to sell a part or all of the following described property: Lot Thirty-one (31) of Maple Heights as shown upon the plat thereof filed for record in the office of the county auditor of said county; excepting however from this conveyance that portion of said Lot more particularly described as follows : Commencing at the southwest corner of said lot Thirty-one (31) , thence running easterly along the southerly line of said lot to the westerly line of the road bordering said lot on the southeast, thence northerly along the westerly line of said road a distance of twenty-four (24' ) feet, thence northerly to the north boundary line of said lot at a point midway between the northeast and northwest corners thereof, thence south- westerly along the north boundary line of said lot to the northwest corner thereof, thence south along the west boundary line of said lot to the place of beginning. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That a proposition granting to the Park Department of Everett the authority to sell a part of or all of the property known as Lot Thirty-one (31) , Flat of Maple Heights, and legally described as follows: Lot Thirty-one (31) of Maple Heights as shown upon the plat thereof filed for record in the office of the county auditor of said county; excepting however from this conveyance that portion of said Lot more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of said lot Thirty-one (31) , thence running easterly along the southerly line of said lot to the westerly line of the road bordering said lot on the southeast , thence northerly along the westerly line of said road a distance of twenty-four (24' ) feet , thence northerly to the north boundary line of said lot at a point midway between the northeast and northwest corners thereof, thence south- westerly along the northoundary line of said lot to the northwest corner thereof, thence south along the west boundary line of said lot to the place of beginning, be submitted to the qualified electors of Everett , at a special - 1 -
