Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan <br /> slightly sloped and shall remain as such during and after construction of the improvements. In <br /> order to protect the slopes on site,they shall be mulched and seeded as soon as possible. The <br /> following relevant BMPs for this project include: <br /> BMP C120: Temporary and Permanent Seeding <br /> BMP C 121: Mulching <br /> 3.1.7 Element#7—Protect Drain Inlets <br /> All existing and proposed storm drain inlets and culverts made operable during construction that <br /> may receive stormwater on and downstream of the site shall be protected to prevent unfiltered or <br /> untreated water from entering the drainage conveyance system. The following relevant BMPs for <br /> this project include: <br /> BMP C220: Storm Drain Inlet Protection <br /> Catch basin filters are to be installed on all catch basins within 300 feet of the active <br /> work area to protect the downstream waters and reduce the potential for material to enter <br /> the storm system. <br /> 3.1.8 Element#8—Stabilize Channels and Outlets <br /> All temporary and permanent conveyance systems shall be stabilized to prevent erosion <br /> during and after construction. There is to be a drainage swale and bioretention facility on <br /> site used for stormwater conveyance. This project is to commence and be completed <br /> during the dry season however,permanent stabilization and outlet protection will need to <br /> be utilized. The following relevant BMPs for this project include: <br /> BMP C201: Grass-Lined Channels <br /> BMP C209: Outlet Protection <br /> 3.1.9 Element#9—Control Pollutants <br /> All pollutants, including waste materials and demolition debris,that occur during construction <br /> shall be handled and disposed of in a manner that does not cause contamination of stormwater. <br /> Good housekeeping and preventative measures will be taken to ensure that the site will be kept <br /> clean,well-organized, and free of debris. If required,BMPs to be implemented to control <br /> specific sources of pollutants are discussed below. <br /> Vehicles, construction equipment, and/or petroleum product storage/dispensing: <br /> • All vehicles, equipment, and petroleum product storage/dispensing areas will be <br /> inspected regularly to detect any leaks or spills, and to identify maintenance needs to <br /> prevent leaks or spills. <br /> Grandview Apartments Clubhouse <br /> SWPPP 7 March,2017 <br />
