, r
V
4.2 Downstream Analysis
Based on existing topographic information, the on-site storm drainage naturally sheet flows west.
Stormwater runoff on-site is captured by catch basins and conveyed into the combined sewer
system consisting of 12-inch to 21-inch concrete pipe. The combined sewer system on this site
conveys stormwater and wastewater toward the southeast where it exits the property. The
stormwater will continue to be conveyed south through Wiggums Hollow Park in the combined
sewer system within concrete pipe ranging from 30 inches to 60 inches. The figure below
demonstrates the stormwater conveyance path up to a half mile downstream of the project site.
Storm drainage from the developed site will be detained in a rain garden to allow for water
quality treatment, infiltration, and evaporation before overflow is routed to the existing combined
sewer system.
• Y: " __PROJECT SITE
/J \ et-
4 ° -iF..c_k '„ I 1ziCPl •.- ice / \
>/(/'" .
