S T , <br /> 1 1 <br /> Water Quality System <br /> Water quality for this project is also provided by the rain garden. Stormwater from the pollution <br /> generating impervious surfaces on site are routed to the rain garden and are treated through <br /> physical, chemical and biological processes provided by the plantings within the rain garden. <br /> Conveyance System Analysis and Design <br /> Stormwater will be conveyed to the rain garden via drainage swale and 6-inch PVC pipe.The rain <br /> garden is designed so that it may detain stormwater for a period of time,allowing for evaporation <br /> and infiltration before being routed to the overflow route. Stormwater is conveyed from the rain <br /> garden via 6-inch PVC pipe and into the combined sewer system which exists on site.
