Action Target submitted the lowest responsive and <br />responsible bid for a total amount of $434,500 plus Washington State Sales Tax of $43,016 for a <br />total construction contract amount of $477,516. <br />The engineer's estimate for construction is $390,000. <br />Project summary statement: <br />Plans and specifications have been prepared for the Police Firing Range Bullet Trap Replacement <br />Project to the satisfaction of the Parks & Facilities Department. The existing bullet trap and <br />targeting systems located at the EPD firing range has reached the end of its useful life and <br />requires replacement. <br />The scope of work includes the abatement of lead fragments from the existing bullet trap and the <br />removal and replacement of the old impact surfaces and targeting systems. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Award the construction contract for the Police Firing Range Bullet Trap Replacement Project to <br />Action Target in the amount of $477,516. <br />
