r .a AO ORDINANCE NO. 3122 AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 2711 of the City of Everett by adding thereto Section 6, entitled as follows : An Ordinance relating to and providing for a license or ;; occupation tax upon certain businesses, pursuits and privileges ; : defining offenses, providing penalties and declaring an emergency. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1 : _Chat Ordinance No. 2711 be amended by adding thereto the following provisions which shall be known as Section 6 of Ordinance No. 2711. Section 2 : OCCUPATIOONS AND PRIVILEGES SUBJECT TO TAX AND AMOUNT : There are hereby levied and shall oe collected annual license fees or occupation taxes on account of businesses or privileges, and in the amount fixed as follows: Upon every person engaged in or carrying on a municipal bus transportation system within the City of Everett for the trans- portation of passengers for hire, the sum of Twenty-five ( 25.00) Dollars for each vehicle used in transportation of passengers for hire in connection with said business. That said fee for the ' year 1947 shall be one-half (2) of said regular fee above set forth, for the reason that said act shall take effect as of July 1, 1947.
