EVERETT <br /> WASHINGTON <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3884-22 <br /> An ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project"Thornton A. Sullivan Playground <br /> Replacement", Fund 354, Program 077,to Accumulate Project Costs in the Amount of$1,200,000. <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> A. The City Council recognizes the need to maintain and improve City Park amenities. <br /> B. The playground at Thornton A. Sullivan Park is 25 years old and exceeds the City of Everett Park's <br /> life-cycle standard of 15 years. <br /> C. The City Council has recognized the need to replace the playground and playground surfacing at <br /> Thornton A. Sullivan Park. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1. A special improvement project fund is hereby entitled "Thornton A Sullivan Playground <br /> Replacement", Fund 354, Program 077,to accumulate project costs in the amount of$1,200,000. <br /> Section 2. Authorization is hereby granted to the Parks and Facilities Department Director under <br /> the administration of the Mayor,to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks and performing all <br /> necessary steps to accomplish the actions authorized by this Ordinance. <br /> Section 3. The estimated cost of the playground replacement is$1,200,000. <br /> Section 4. The sum of$1,200,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 354, Program 077 "Thornton A. <br /> Sullivan Playground Replacement" project. <br /> A. Use of Funds <br /> Construction and Related Costs $1,200,000 <br /> Total $1,200,000 <br /> B. Source of Funds <br /> CIP 3 $1,200,000 <br /> Total $1,200,000 <br />
