gri <br /> EVERETT <br /> 3886-22 WASHINGTON <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> An ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled "Silver Lake Trail" Fund 354, Program <br /> 075 to accumulate project costs. <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> A. The City Council recognizes the need to maintain and improve City Park amenities. <br /> B. The City Council recognizes the value and need to create a continuous and accessible 10-foot- <br /> wide trail through Thornton A. Sullivan Park. <br /> C. The City Council recognizes the value and need to create a multipurpose, hard-surfaced trail <br /> around Silver Lake by adding pavement markings and way-finding signage to define the trail. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1. A special improvement project fund is hereby entitled "Silver Lake Trail" project, Fund <br /> 354, Program 075. <br /> Section 2. Authorization is hereby granted to the Parks and Facilities Department Director under <br /> the administration of the Mayor,to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks and performing all <br /> necessary steps to accomplish the actions authorized by this Ordinance. <br /> Section 3. The estimated cost to create the trail is$1,330,000. <br /> Section 4. The sum of$1,330,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 354, Program 354, "Silver Lake <br /> Trail" project. <br /> A. Use of Funds <br /> Trail Construction and Associated Costs $1,330,000 <br /> Total $1,330,000 <br /> B. Source of Funds <br /> CIP 3 $1,000,000 <br /> Fund 145-Street &Alley Vacation $ 250,000 <br /> Snohomish County REET 2 Funds $ 80,000 <br /> Total $1,330,000 <br />
