I am the planner <br /> conducting the Planning intake review for this application. Please note the following comments are not a thorough plan <br /> check review and they only address larger zoning compliance points and the submittal checklist. Additional comments <br /> may be provided by the Building intake reviewer for your application; please utilize the Online Permitting Portal to check <br /> on the status of other reviewers. <br /> 1. This property is zoned B and is in sign category A. Table 36-2 limits the maximum square footage of wall signs <br /> on each facade. The maximum is the greater of 48sf or 15%of the area of the building facade, up to a maximum <br /> of 300sf. The proposed 180sf"the milkhouse coffee co"sign and the 8'x8' logo sign appear to exceed the <br /> maximum wall sign allowance on the north facade. <br /> 2. The plans note that for sign#3,the color,size, and style is TBD. We will not be able to permit sign#3 without <br /> more specific information. <br /> 3. Please provide more information regarding the materials proposed for the signs and how they will be <br /> constructed(if not just painted on the building). <br /> The interim permit intake/resubmittal policy is available on the Permit Services Page. Please submit at minimum 2 <br /> copies of any revised documents/plans. <br /> These comments are only related to the land use code and do not account for all possible requirements from other <br /> departments.
