I <br /> 1 any resurveying, checking, correction of errors, replacement of missing or damaged <br /> 2 stakes, and coordination efforts. <br /> 3 <br /> 4 1-05.4.OPT4.GR 1 <br /> 5 (April 2, 2018) <br /> 6 Contractor Surveying—ADA Features111 <br /> 7 ADA Feature Staking Requirements <br /> 8 The Contractor shall be responsible for setting, maintaining, and resetting all 1 <br /> 9 alignment stakes, and grades necessary for the construction of the ADA features. <br /> 10 Calculations, surveying, and measuring required for setting and maintaining the <br /> 11 necessary lines and grades shall be the Contractor's responsibility. The Contractor <br /> 12 shall build the ADA features within the specifications in the Standard Plans and 11 <br /> 13 contract documents. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 ADA Feature As-Built Measurements <br /> 16 The Contractor shall be responsible for providing electronic As-Built records of all <br /> 17 ADA feature improvements completed in the Contract. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 The survey work shall include but not be limited to completing the measurements, 111 <br /> 20 recording the required measurements and completing other data fill-ins found on the <br /> 21 ADA Measurement Forms, and transmitting the electronic Forms to the Engineer. 1 <br /> 22 The ADA Measurement Forms are found at the following website location: <br /> 23 <br /> 24 https://wsdot.wa.gov/engineerinq-standards/design-topics/design-ada <br /> 25 <br /> 26 In the instance where an ADA Feature does not meet accessibility requirements, all <br /> 27 work to replace non-conforming work and then to measure, record the as-built <br /> 28 measurements, and transmit the electronic Forms to the Engineer shall be completed I <br /> 29 at no additional cost to the Contracting Agency, as ordered by the Engineer. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 Payment 111 <br /> 32 Payment will be made for the following bid item that is included in the Proposal: <br /> 33 <br /> 34 "ADA Features Surveying", lump sum. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 The unit Contract price per lump sum for "ADA Features Surveying" shall be full pay for <br /> 37 all the Work as specified. <br /> 38111 39 1-05.7.RTF <br /> 40 1-05.7 Removal of Defective and Unauthorized Work <br /> 41 (October 1, 2005 APWA GSP) I <br /> 42 <br /> 43 Supplement this section with the following: <br /> 44 <br /> 45 If the Contractor fails to remedy defective or unauthorized work within the time specified <br /> 46 in a written notice from the Engineer, or fails to perform any part of the work required by <br /> 47 the Contract Documents, the Engineer may correct and remedy such work as may be I <br /> 48 identified in the written notice, with Contracting Agency forces or by such other means as <br /> 49 the Contracting Agency may deem necessary. <br /> 50 <br /> 1 <br /> INTERURBAN TRAIL TO YMCA PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> WORK ORDER 3749 Page SP14 of SP68 MAY 2,2022 , <br /> I <br />
