1 <br /> CITY OF EVERETT,WASHINGTON <br /> CONTRACT PROVISIONS FOR <br /> INTERURBAN TRAIL TO YMCA PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS <br /> WORK ORDER 3749 <br /> NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS <br /> ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> 1 Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the Interurban Trail to YMCA Pedestrian Improvements project will <br /> be received at the office of the City Clerk, 15t Floor Everett Municipal Building, 2930 Wetmore, Everett, WA, <br /> 98201, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24,2022. At the appointed time, all bids will be opened and read aloud <br /> publicly via webcast only. The link for the webcast is located at https://everettwa.gov/319/Procurement. The <br /> engineer's estimate for this Project is$290,691. <br /> Work being performed includes, but is not limited to,furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to <br /> construct new pedestrian access facilities and associated appurtenances between Alta Drive/Interurban Trail,to <br /> Beaumont Drive, and Colby Avenue. Includes a new crosswalk on Colby Avenue at Emma Yule Neighborhood <br /> Park with three Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons, a raised-median refuge island with pedestrian cut-through, <br /> 1 two ADA ramps and performing all Work as required by the Contract Documents. <br /> Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to <br /> Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and clicking on "Posted Projects", <br /> "Public Works",and"City of Everett". This online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online documents <br /> with the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and <br /> a free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that Bidders "Register" in order to receive automatic e- <br /> ll mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the "Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that <br /> do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan <br /> room for addenda issued on this project. Contact Builders Exchange of Washington at (425) 258-1303 should <br /> you require assistance with access or registration. <br /> All bids must be made upon the City forms provided for this purpose and must be accompanied by a bid bond or <br /> certified check or cashier's check in an amount not less than five percent(5%) of the total amount of the Bid, all <br /> as set forth in the Contract Documents. One hundred percent (100%) Payment and Performance Bonds will be <br /> required of the successful Bidder to guarantee faithful performance of the contract. <br /> The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. No Bidder <br /> may withdraw its Bid after the hour set for the opening thereof, except as may be provided in the Contract <br /> Documents.
