I <br /> CITY OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON <br /> WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT "W" <br /> WO NO. —UP3766 <br /> NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS <br /> ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT "W" project will be received at <br /> the office of the City Clerk, 1st Floor Wall Street Building, 2930 Wetmore, Everett, WA, 98201, until 2:00 p.m. on <br /> Tuesday, April 26, 2022. At the appointed time, all bids will be opened and read aloud publicly via webcast only. <br /> The link for the webcast is located at https://everettwa.qov/319/Procurement. The engineer's estimate for this <br /> Project is $1,942,237. <br /> Work being performed includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to <br /> construct approximately 1,400 linear feet of 12-in ductile iron and 2,250 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron watermain <br /> and other such appurtenances and performing all Work as required by the Contract Documents. <br /> Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to <br /> Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and clicking on "Posted Projects", <br /> "Public Works", and "City of Everett". This online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online documents <br /> with the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and a <br /> free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that Bidders "Register" in order to receive automatic e-mail <br /> notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the"Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not <br /> register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for <br /> addenda issued on this project. Contact Builders Exchange of Washington at(425)258-1303 should you require <br /> assistance with access or registration. <br /> All bids must be made upon the City forms provided for this purpose and must be accompanied by a bid bond or <br /> certified check or cashier's check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid, all <br /> as set forth in the Contract Documents. One hundred percent (100%) Payment and Performance Bonds will be <br /> required of the successful Bidder to guarantee faithful performance of the contract. <br /> The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. No Bidder <br /> may withdraw its Bid after the hour set for the opening thereof, except as may be provided in the Contract <br /> Documents.
