EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Architectural and Engineering services associated with reroofing and maintenance improvements to the Thornton A. <br /> Sullivan Park Dome located at 11621 Silver Lake Road,Everett,WA 98208. In addition with the reroof,additional <br /> exterior repair work to various exterior CMU pilasters and existing canopies will be conducted. Services for this <br /> project include preparation of construction documents,permit coordination,cost estimating,bidding and <br /> construction administration.The scope of services and fees listed below outline the workvnecessary to complete <br /> plans,assist with permitting and bidding,and follow through with construction administration as requested. <br /> PRELIMINARY DESIGN(AS NEEDED): • <br /> -Meet with owner representative to discuss and modify design drawings as necessary based on outcome of meeting. <br /> -Develop preliminary design drawings for review and approval. <br /> CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS: <br /> -Refine the existing drawings as required to permit the project and bid to multiple general contractors. <br /> -Develop drawings as required to put project out to bid. <br /> -Drawings will include architectural information including plans,elevations and details as necessary to convey the <br /> scope of work and product selections to bidding contractors. <br /> -Provide product specifications. <br /> -Provide specifications. <br /> -Provide construction cost estimates at 90%drawings. <br /> BIDDING: <br /> -Assist with contractor questions. <br /> -Perform a walk through of the building with the bidding contractors. <br /> CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION: <br /> -Provide owner with construction support as required to reroof and repairs to structure. <br /> -Answer RFIs and other questions during the construction process. <br /> -Prepare punchlist associated with the work when construction has been substantially completed. <br /> -It is presumed that the city project manager will handle day-to-day construction administration activitites. <br /> STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING <br /> The services of a structural engineer may be necessary for redesign of canopy elements and the CMU replacement <br /> associated with this project.John Riley of Quantum Consulting Engineers to perform these services. <br /> Page 12 <br /> (Form Approved by City Attorney's Office January 7,2010,updated March 13,2022) <br />
