ORDINANCE N0. 3099 . AN ORDINANCE approving and confirming the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 566 for the im- provement of the alley between Broadway and 1''cDougall Avenue from 26th Street to 25th Street , by grading to proper grade , construction of a Portland cement concrete pavement sixteen feet in width, installation of necessary drainage, and doing all other work neces- sary to make a complete improvement under Ordinance No. 3062 of the City of Everett ; levying an assessment on account thereof against the several lots, tracts and parcels of land or other property as shown on said roll ; providing for immediate payments therefor, and, providing for penalties for delinquency thereof. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 566 for the improvement of the alley between Broadway and McDougall Avenue from 26th Street to 25th Street , by grading to proper grade, construction of a Portland cement concrete pavement sixteen feet in width, installation of necessary drainage , and doing all other work necessary to make a complete improvement under Ordinance No. 3062 of the City of Evexett, as the same now stands, be , and the same is hereby in all things approved and con- firmed. Section 2: That each of the lots, tracts and parcels of lend as shown by said roll is hereby declared to be especially benefited by said improvement in at least the amount charged against the same, and that the assessment appearing against the same is in proportion to the assessment appearing upon said roll, and that there is hereby levied an assessment against said lot, tract and parcel of land, or other property appearing on said roll in the amount finally charged against the same. Section 3: That the ordinance creating the improvement provides for payment under the mode of 'Imsediate Payment" as de- fined by law and the ordinances of the City of Everett. Section 4: That all assessments due under provisions of this improvement shall be due and payable within Thirty (30) days from the date of first publication of notice that said assessment roll is in the hands of the Treasurer for collection as provided by the ordinances of the City of Everett and the laws of the State of Washington, and unless paid within said period of time a penalty of Five (5%) per cent shell attach and become a part of such asses- sment and such delinquent assessments shall bear interest in addition thereto at the rate of Eight (8%) per cent per annum until paid. /' Mayor ATTEST: OX'/A/11 41/ Passed : November 7th, 1946.
