ORDINANCE No. 30 90. AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of the follow- ing aescribed portion of street in the City of Everett, County of Snohomish, State of Washington to-wit: Beginning at the Standard Monument as now located on 42nd Street and Federal Avenue, run north along the center l'ne of Federal Avenue for a distance of 37. 5 ft. , tr angle left 90° 48 ' for a distance of 384 ft. m/1 to the N.U. corner of 42nd Street and Cromer Avenue, the T.P.O.B. , th continue west along the norh line of 42nd Street for 142 ft. , th angle left 90 for a distance of 37. 5 ft. to the center line of 42nd Street, th angle left 83°58 '12" for a distance of 142.79 ft. to a point on the west line of Kromer Avenue which is 15 ft. south of the center line of 42nc. Street, th north along the west line of Kromer Avenue 52. 5 ft. to the T.P.O.B. said area embracing 0.1467 acres. WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the private property abutting upon the above described portion of street have duly filed their petition with the City Council of Everett praying for the vacation of said portion of street; and UHEREAS, said City Council of the City of Everett did, by resolution duly adopted, fix the 28th day of August 1946 , at 10:00 o ' clock A.14_. of said uay for the hearing ano uetermin- ation of said petition; and WHEKEAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of said hearing and the determination of said petition has been given by the city Clerk in the manner required by law; and WHEREAS, the said hearing was duly ana regularly continued until the 4th day of September, 1946 at 10:00 o 'clock AM. ; and WHEREAS, it now appearing to the City council that said petition shoula be granted and said Council does hereby determine to vacate the above described portion of street. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY C EVERETT DUES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the portion of street in the City of Everett, County of Snohomish, State of Washinton, described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at the Standard Monument as now located on 42nd Street and Federal Avenue, run north along the center line of Rederal Avenue for a distance of 37. 5 ft. , th angle left 90° 48 ' for a distance of 384 ft. m/1 to the N.M. corner of 42nd Street and Kromer Avenue, the T.P.O.B. , th continue west along the north line of 42nd Street for 142 ft. , th angle left 90° for a distance of 37. 5 ft. to the center line of 42nd Street, th angle left 83°50 '12" for a distance of 142.79 ft. to a point on the west line of Kromer Avenue which is 15 ft. south of the center line of 42nd Street, th north along the west line of Kromer Avenue 52. 5 ft. to the T.P.O.B. said area embracing 0.1467 acres. be and the same is hereby vacated and the title to the land in sail street, above described, is hereby declared to vest in the abutt- ing property owners as provided by law. _,-ayor Attest: yT City ler Passed: 'Sept . 17th , 194 .
