�! t <br /> O DI:NJ,TTCE No. 3087 <br /> 2Y OLDI=CE providing for the improvement of 26th Street !, <br /> from Colby Evenue to LLucker :-.venue by paving with ortland cer en-c, <br /> concrete paver,,ent , widening said street where necessary, instillation <br /> of all surface drain- 0'P . construction or reconstruction of all pavement , <br /> construction or reconstruction of all sewers , side sewers, water iaairris <br /> and hydrants, and necessary appurtenances, construction or reconstruct- <br /> tion of all concrete curbs and sidewalks where necessary, rading <br /> or regrading ES may be necessary and doing all other work nece, sery <br /> in connection therewith to make a complete improvement, all in <br /> accordance with Resolution No. 5143 of the City of Everett ; creating , <br /> a local improvement district ; creating a local improvement district <br /> fund therefor; providing, that fifty percent (50c ) of the cost of that <br /> portion of the improvement involving grading, construction of sur- <br /> facing ;nd pavement and engineering expense shall be paid by <br /> func,s from the Washington State Development Board, and the balance <br /> of the cost of said improven.ent shall be borne by and assessed <br /> against the property liable therefor in said district under the mode <br /> of payment by bonds. <br /> ?, -iEa S, by Resolution No. 5143 the City Council of the <br /> City of Everett has declared its intention to order the improvement <br /> as aoove outlined, and doing all work in connection therewith to mak4 <br /> a complete improvement in accordance with the plans and specifications <br /> as prepared by the City Engineer of the City of Everett . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, TEE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDZ,ITT: <br /> Section 1: That 26th :street from Colby Avenue to Rucl:e <br /> ;venue be raved w,iith Portland cement concrete pavement, widening said <br /> street where necessary, installation of all surface drainage , <br /> ifconstruction or reconstruction of ell pavement, construction or re- s <br /> construction of all sewers, side sewers, water mains and hydrants, <br /> and necessary appurtena_lces, construction or reconstruction of all <br /> concrete curbs and sidewalks where necessary, grading or regrading <br /> as may be necessary and doing all other work necessary in connection ; <br /> therewith to make a complete improvement , all according to the plans ; <br /> and specifications prepared under the direction of the City Engineer; <br /> and which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. <br /> Section 2: That the cost and expense of. such improve- <br /> ment, including all necessary and incidental expenses, shall be borne <br /> ; <br /> as follows: <br /> Fifty percent of the cost of that portion of the improvement <br /> involing grading, construction of surfacing and pavement and <br /> engineering expense snail be paid by fun s from the Washington <br /> State Development Board, the remaining oo ,t of said improvement <br /> ( shall be borne b- and assessed against the Property liable therefor <br /> .-' <br /> I in the district herein created in accordance mith lave. <br /> I' The City of Everett shall not be liab__e in any manner for <br /> f <br /> any portion of the costs and expenses of such improvement except ES <br /> provined by Chapter 141 Session Laves of 1923, or acts amendatory there- <br /> to and the ordinances of the City of Everett. <br /> it <br /> lj <br /> 1 <br /> , <br />
