July 20, 2022 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., <br /> July 20, 2022, Council President Stonecipher presiding. <br /> Upon roll call, it was found that Council Members Zarlingo, Fosse, Schwab, and <br /> President Stonecipher were present. Mayor Franklin and Council Members Rhyne, <br /> Vogeli and Tuohy were excused. <br /> Council Member Schwab led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> On behalf of the City Council, Council Member Zarlingo acknowledged the original <br /> inhabitants of this place, the sduhubs people, and their successors, the Tulalip <br /> Tribes. <br /> The minutes of the July 13, 2022, City Council meeting were approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Franklin was excused. <br /> President Stonecipher invited Chief Templeman from the Police Department to <br /> introduce three new police officers. <br /> OATH — POLICE OFFICERS <br /> Moved by Council Member Zarlingo, seconded by Council Member Schwab, to <br /> concur with the appointments of Marwan Abouzied, Samual De Los Santos and <br /> Forrest Hopkins as new Everett Police Officers. <br /> Roll was call with all Council Members voting yes, except Council Members Rhyne, <br /> Vogeli and Tuohy who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 1 <br />
